Video metadata can only be edited for videos that have been directly uploaded to Library Editor or added from Workspace. For videos that come from ClickView libraries see this article.
1. In Library Editor, locate the video you would like to edit and select the grey pencil 'edit' icon: |
2. You will be directed to a page where you can edit all metadata fields: |
3. You then have the option to fill out the 'Additional Details' fields which contain extra information such as:
i. Series Title, Season and Episode Number The ‘Series Title', 'Season' and 'Episode Number’ will enable you to link the video title to an existing tv series or create a new series. If you use the series feature you must enter a season number and episode number for the video to save:
ii. Broadcast Date The ‘Broadcast Date’ allows you to set a date on which the program was broadcasted or added to your institution’s Library:
iii. Channel The ‘Channel’ field will enable you to link the video title to an array of all available free-to-air channels:
iv. Production Year The production year can be dated according to the release of the program: v. Production Companies The production company can be dated according to the release of the program. You can add multiple companies to this field:
vi. Distributors The Distributor of the program can be searched and selected, matching that of the uploaded program. You can add multiple distributors:
vii. Producers Similarly the 'Producers' field is utilized to link the uploaded video to a producer of the content: viii. Directors The Director of the program can be searched and selected, matching that of the uploaded program. You can add multiple directors:

4. To save the changes click the 'Save' button at the right of the screen. |
