The first step is to obtain the log files. You need to search for %TEMP%\ClickView in the Windows search tool and search for a file called ClickViewPublisher.msi.(random number).log.
Search for the error status: 1603. This is usually found at the bottom of the file. An example error status can be seen below:
"MSI (c) (A8:20) [10:14:25:921]: Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: ClickView Publisher. Product Version: 18.104.22.168. Product Language: 0. Manufacturer: ClickView. Installation success or error status: 1603."
To resolve the issue, please try the following steps:
1. Start regedit.exe
2. Go to HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node
3. Find ClickView folder
4. Right click on the folder and select Permissions
5. You may receive this message: "We receive the following Windows Security error: The permissions on [Name of Registry Key] are incorrectly ordered, which may cause some entries to be ineffective. To order the permissions correctly, click Reorder. To leave permissions unchanged (the view will be read-only), click Cancel."
