If you are receiving this error it could be caused by a permission based issue.
The first step is to login to the Master Publisher Server, then go to the Tools --> ClickView Backup Utility. This shows you where the data and database are stored.
Add ClickView Publisher users to the Network Share (Setting NTFS permissions)
In the properties window of each share, go to the Security tab and click on the Edit button. This will open the NTFS permissions window for the folder.
In this window, click on the Add button, and a new window will open. In the textbox at the bottom of this window, enter the name of the group that will be accessing ClickView Publisher (Master) via other instances of Publisher. In this example, the group we are providing access to is G ClickView Managers. Click on the Check Names button to verify that the group name is correct and once it is validated click OK to continue.
Grant Read+Write Permissions
The group you added in Step 4 will now appear in the permissions window. Select this group, then tick the Full Control check-box in the Permissions for <GroupName> section.
Click OK or Apply to confirm the changes.
IMPORTANT: Repeat Steps for the other two locations shown the first step (provided they are in different folders).
Users within the group you have specified will now be able to remotely administer the ClickView Publisher (Master) instance using other instances of ClickView Publisher.
Secondly, you can also look at the working folder permissions article if you continue to experience issues:
