This article will guide educators and administrators through the required steps to successfully submit a new feature request, and also vote for an existing feature request through Product Board. Submitting a new Feature Request
There are two ways to submit a Feature Request to ClickView. Firstly, we have the option of logging a request, directly into Product Board, and secondly, we have the option of an email. The next section of this article will guide you through both options.
Submitting via Product Board
To submit a new feature request via Product Board directly, simply follow these steps:
1. Access Product Board from the menu option within ClickView:

2. From the top menu option, click on the '+Submit idea' button:
2. You'll see the 'Submit new idea' window.
2a, Fill in the large text box with the following information:

Customer Details:
- Institute Name
- Customer Name
- Customer Email Address

Request Details:
- Current Situation: What is the problem being encountered?
- Desired Outcome: Why is the request being submitted?
- Benefits of the Change: How will the request help?
2b, Select the appropriate importance
2c, populate your email address
2d, click on the 'Submit' button
3. Requests submitted to Product Board will require email validation. An email will be sent to the email address provided when submitting the request.
4. From the email that you receive, simply click the 'Confirm email' button.
5. That's it! you've successfully submitted a new feature request to ClickView.
Submitting via email
To submit a new feature request via email, simply follow these steps:
1. Using the following email template, provide details of your feature request.
Customer Details:
- Institute Name
- Customer Name
- Customer Email Address
Request Details:
- Current Situation: What is the problem being encountered?
- Desired Outcome: Why is the request being submitted?
- Benefits of the Change: How will the request help?
2. Send the email to the appropriate regional address:
3. You'll receive an automated acknowledgement notification via email.
Submitting feedback on an existing feature request
1. Access Product Board from the menu option within ClickView:
Or, directly from the following URL - http://roadmap.clickvieweducation.com/
2. Click on the 'Planned' tab
3. Click on a feature from the ClickView Product Roadmap, and you'll be presented with a screen like the one below, for that feature:
3a. Select the appropriate importance
3b. Fill in the large text box with the following information:
- Desired Outcome: Why is the feature required?
- Benefits of the Change: How will the feature help you?
3c, populate your email address
2d, click on the 'Submit' button
4. Feedback added to an existing request within Product Board, will require email validation. An email will be sent to the email address provided when submitting the request.
5. From the email that you receive, simply click the 'Confirm email' button.
6. That's it! you've successfully submitted added feedback to an existing feature request.
