How to Upload MARC Records to Oliver

The following steps show how to import ClickView MARC records in to Oliver:

  1. Open Oliver and go to the Management window
  2. From the management menu on the left click "Import" (1) and then select import type "MARC" (2):

  3. On the MARC import screen, click the "Browse" button in the "Filename" field and upload the ClickView MARC21 file (1) from your computer and ensure that the MARC format is set to MARC21 (2):

  4. Then check the "Overwrite Matching" field is set to "Match on Control ID (tag 001), then on ClickView Control ID (tag 035)" (1) before clicking the "Import" button (2):
