The ClickView Plugin for Moodle enables you to browse through your entire ClickView library, the ClickView Exchange, and your own personal Workspace from within Moodle, making it easy to embed educational videos directly, quickly and safely into your pages and share them with your students.
- To install the ClickView plugin for Moodle, first visit the Moodle plugins directory https://moodle.org/plugins/
- Search for "ClickView". There will be four options. You will need to download the "ClickView Video (Activity)" module and one of the "Embed ClickView Video (Atto/TinyMCE)" plugins depending on which html editor you use. You will be prompted to add the "ClickView Integration (Local)" dependency while installing the others so its not necessary to download it now:
- Click on the one you want to install:
- Select either "Download" or "Versions". Both will take you to the same page:
- Click "Download". If there are multiple versions please choose the newest one. The files will be downloaded to your computer in a zip file:
- Login to Moodle and go to Site administration > Plugins > Install plugins:
- Click "Choose a file":
- In the file picker choose from Upload a file>Choose a file, then upload the zip file that was downloaded in step 4:
- Add details as required. You should only be prompted to add extra details if your plugin type is not automatically detected:
- Select "Upload this file":
- Select "Install plugin":
- Check the plugin validation report click "Continue":
- You may be presented with the Currernt Release Information screen. Simply scroll to the bottom and click "Continue":
- At this point you may also be prompted to install the ClickView Integration (Local) dependency if you have not already. Click "Install":
- Once that's done click "Upgrade":
- Click "Continue":
- Select your sign in region/country:
- If your school uses Single Sign On please type your school ID which can be found in ClickView in the RSS feed url. See here for instructions on how to find it:
- Select "Save changes":
