How to enable auto-captioning when uploading a video to Workspace?
- Sign in to ClickView
- Click Workspace in the top menu
- Click Upload a video button
- Select a video and add title
- Click Advanced Settings
- Toggle on Enable Auto-captioning (BETA)
- Click on Submit button
Automatically generated captions may not be available as soon as your video is ready to play but will come through shortly after. When the subtitles are ready, you will see them by clicking on the CC button in the video player.

- Click Upload a video button
- Select a video and add title
- Click Add advanced metadata
- Toggle on Enable Auto-captioning (BETA)
- Click on Finish button

How to edit auto-captioning generated by ClickView in Workspace?
- Sign in to ClickView
- Click Workspace in the top menu
- Navigate to the video you want to edit auto-captioning generated by ClickView
- Click Options
- Click Edit Details
- Click on the subtitle file you want to edit
- Download the subtitle file (.srt) and open it with a text editor (Notepad, TextEdit)
- Edit the subtitles and save changes. Remember that you cannot change the file’s extension. It must remain .srt in order to be recognized by ClickView
- Upload the new subtitle file to the video in Workspace
- Remove the old subtitle file
How to edit auto-captioning generated by ClickView in Library Editor?
- Sign in to ClickView Library Editor
- Navigate to the video you want to edit auto-captioning generated by ClickView
- Click Edit (pencil icon)
- Click Resources, Subtitles & Links tab
- Click on the subtitle file you want to edit
- Download the subtitle file (.srt) and open it with a text editor (Notepad, TextEdit)
- Edit the subtitles and save changes. Remember that you cannot change the file’s extension. It must remain .srt in order to be recognized by ClickView
- Upload the new subtitle file to Library Editor
- Remove the old subtitle file
