Libraries are collections of videos hosted by ClickView that all users at your school are able to view. There are 3 different types of libraries that your school may have. Most schools have one or more running side by side.
- School Library
This is a video library that customers can curate themselves. They are able to add their own material from Hosted Collections, Exchange, TV, Workspace or by personal upload. This gives each school the opportunity to organise videos in a way that suits them and their lesson plans. Since students can't browse Exchange or TV, the school library is where all videos from Exchange or TV must be added to if a teacher wants pupils to watch it. The school library is usually named after the school e.g. Westside High School Library but can be named anything. Students, teachers and admin can view the school library, teachers can request videos be added, only admin users can approve requests and add videos. The school library is managed by admin users via Library Editor or Publisher. This library is unavailable to users not from the school. - Hosted Collections
These are collections of videos that are hosted and managed by ClickView. They are curated and organised by our talented content team according to subject. Every month when new videos are added, these collections are updated automatically - there is no need to worry about downloading videos into your library - we handle that all for you. You cannot make any changes to the library or update the collections in any way, however, they are provided as is. You must be subscribed to a specific Hosted Collection to view it. To identify whether you are using a Hosted Collection, look for a school library called either "Plus and VET Collections", "Primary Library" and "Secondary Library" or "Tertiary Library". - Shared Library
Some schools enter into an arrangement where one school can view another school's school library. This setup is common for schools with split campuses. The school with the host library must ask ClickView to share their school library with another school. The other school can only view the library and is unable to make changes.
