What is Workspace Management?
Workspace Management is a tool that can be used to manage your schools ClickView Workspace size and storage allocations and enable public Workspace sharing for Student accounts within your institution.
Where can I find Workspace Management?
You will need to be assigned Administrator access rights within ClickView to see the 'Workspace Storage' option.
- Login to ClickView using your user credentials.
- Once logged in click on your username in the top right hand corner, then select Settings.
- From the left hand side bar, select Workspace Storage which will open in a new tab.
How can I use Workspace Management?
Click on the size limit that you want the users to have - for instance in the screenshot below, we can see the following Storage Caps are currently in place
- Students - 1GB per user
- Teachers - 5GB per user
- Administrative Contacts - 10GB per user
To change any of the above, click on the size limit you would like so it turns orange.
You can also disable Workspace for users by clicking the 'Disabled' size option on the far left.
Note: it is not possible to set Workspace Storage caps for individual users - these must be set per user Category i.e. All students set to 1GB, all Teachers set to 5GB etc.
Workspace Sharing Options:
As we can see from the screenshot below, it is also possible to provide Students with the ability to share Workspace material they have uploaded themselves to a public audience by checking the 'Enable public sharing for students'
By checking this, all students in your institution will all be able to share any of their own uploaded Workspace material publicly.
Student Interactive Options
By checking this box students can create their own interactive videos and share them with others to do and complete.
